Our men gather with the purpose of building men for the body of Christ. We will address the character qualities God demands of men. We teach the importance of integrity and how God calls men to be godly examples and leaders in their home, church, and the world. We seek to challenge one another toward biblical manhood. The overall goal would be to instruct our men to “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13).”
These are the following values we wish to instill:
Promote discipleship and accountability. We do this through our discipleship groups. We hope this is one avenue to help men get connected to the life of the church.
Provide fellowship and encouragement. Creating space to expand relationship in our church through fellowship and encouragement.
Participate in service. Find opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ.
Proclaim the gospel. Whether it is inviting someone to a gathering to hear the gospel or learning how to evangelize to your neighbor, we seek to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
Ways to Connect:
Men’s Breakfast/Cookouts – A hearty meal where men can just spend some time with one another and gain support from other men.
Serving Our Community – There are always ways to serve those in our church and community. We wish to provide a number of service opportunities for the men.
