Elders are servant-leaders who have devoted themselves to lead the church through teaching and shepherding God’s flock. Elders are the under-shepherds of the local church. The term elder is synonymous with pastor or overseer. The elders watch over the spiritual life and health of the church. They do so through prayer and teaching God’s Word. You can listen to our sermon series on elders here.
